Patty
Howell, Ed.M., A.G.C.,
Relationship Expert, Counselor, Trainer, and Author,
has
extensive experience as a Counselor and Counselor
Educator at Washington University's graduate counseling
program, and in teaching relationship skills and management
programs to enthusiastic groups around the world.
She serves as President of Howell-Jones Trainings
and as Executive Director of the nonprofit Marriage
Education Institute, which offers a curriculum of
Marriage Education courses Online
(www.marriageed.org).
She
also works with clients in her private practice.
Patty
is the author of World Class Marriage
with Ralph Jones, and Health Promotion with
Alberto Zucconi, as well as numerous articles and
training programs. Patty is also an Associate of Istituto
dell'Approccio Centrato sulla Persona (IACP), in Rome,
the Person-Centered training institute co-founded
by Carl Rogers. Patty is a popular public speaker
who appears regularly on television and radio, and
is especially known for her powerful, warmly emotional,
and energy-charged training style.
Ralph
Jones, Master Trainer
and Author,
is
a prominent trainer in the Person-Centered Approach,
with over 30 years of training experience. He serves
as Director of Howell-Jones Trainings and Education
Director of the Marriage Education Institute. As the
former Director of International Programs for Effectiveness
Training International and in his current positions,
Ralph has taught thousands of couples, parents, teachers,
and managers and trained thousands of trainers in
the U.S. and abroad. His private practice focuses
on teaching communication skills to couples and individuals.
In addition, Ralph has authored books and training
materials for programs used on six continents. Ralph
is past vice president of the San Diego World Trade
Association, and is an Associate of IACP, Rome.
He is widely admired for his warmth, gentleness, powerful
listening skills, and great clarity of teaching.
During
their more than 25 years of marriage and professional
association, Patty and Ralph have authored numerous
books and training programs, presented at conferences,
and taught relationship
skills programs in 14 countries around the world.
